The Fender Vintage Hot Rod 57 Strat
with Candy Apple red finish bridges the gap between the
Fender Stratocasters from the Custom Shop and production model Strats.
Loaded with the most requested custom features built into
Custom Shop models, the Stratocaster Vintage Hot Rod 57 is
equipped with Parallel SCN (Neck), SCN (Mid), and DiMarzio Dual
Blade Tone Zone (Bridge) pickup, a softer "V"-shaped neck, and
an American Vintage Synchronized tremolo. Fender SCN pickups deliver
souped-up fireball feel and time-honored Fender tone heritage with a
noise-free design that`ll let your guitar purr like a kitten
or howl like a banshee. With the special design combination
of traditional magnets and new Samarian Cobalt magnetic material, the
illustrious spank-and-clank Strat sound roars forth from these pickups with
eight-cylinder dynamic and magnetic response that actually dusted most of
our coveted Kennedy-era test pickups. The Tone Zone humbucking
Strat replacement pickup has built in the tremendous mid-range and
bass response of the original Tone Zone, and the same
patented dual-resonance design produces great harmonics. We also took
into account the likelihood of installing The Strat style Tone
Zone in the classic slanted Strat bridge position, by warming
up the higher frequencies and brightening the low notes a
little. This is a vintage style Strat customized the
way you like it! Get a brand-new guitar with that
magical broken-in feel, but set up to be a real
world player's instrument. Classic vintage styling and a thin
nitrocellulose lacquer finish mingle with modern pickups and a slimmed,
softened "V"-style neck and medium jumbo frets on the Vintage
Hot Rod `57 Strat. Nitrocellulose lacquer, which is a
highly sought-after finish found on vintage guitars, lets the wood`s
tonality shine through and project allowing it to breathe and
reverberate, it will "break in" easily and enhance the overall
tone of the instrument. The result is a guitar
with a vintage feel and modern tonal capabilities, giving it
a broken-in vibe and adding functionality to a classic instrument.
